Every school in America is facing the same issues and challenges, so when K12 expert D. Scott Schwartz, M.Ed. first became a school administrator, after suffering as a classroom teacher, he knew things needed to change.

"The biggest obstacle my teachers faced was burnout," said Schwartz. "If I didn't solve that issue, I would have lost too many valuable teachers to the grind of teaching."

In 2011, he developed the Teacher Development program, which helps and supports any teacher who wanted to become an expert level instructor in two school years. This innovative program became not only a hit with his own staff, but word spread quickly to other teachers and districts within a 50 mile radius of his K12 program. 

One of the key components of the Teacher Development program was showing teachers how to write expert-level lesson plans in half the time it was taking them to write lower quality plans.
