The Reasoning Behind Emotional Sustainability:
As human beings, we are able to handle stress, anxiety, pressure and even emergencies. And teachers are more resilient than most other professionals, but there comes a point when too much stress and anxiety begins to shut down your brain's processing speeds. Decision making is the first to go!! Then emotional well-being is second. 

Before you started this Self-Care program did you feel more irritable? Were you quick to lose focus? Was it hard to see a "light" at the end of the tunnel? Those are all normal "WARNING SIGNS" that you are reaching your very limit of stress and anxiety. You cannot sustain that for longer than 2-3 weeks. That is pretty much the full capacity of a human being. If you subject yourself to EXTREMELY stressful situations longer than 2-3 weeks, without doing Self-Care tips and strategies, your brain stops working at its peak performance.
